Jobs you'd do
with a mouse and keyboard.

Type what you want the way you'd say it to a person. Each entry below names what Ora asks before it acts, and how to stop or undo the result.

Tidy my Downloads folder — group the files by type.

Everyday computer use

Ora opens your Windows apps and clicks, types and scrolls inside them — and inside the browser tabs you hand over.

Copy the addresses from my letters folder into the spreadsheet open on my screen.

Asks firstThe default Smart mode proposes each step and waits on anything risky or new. Move your mouse or type and Ora pauses instantly — your hands always win.

Stop · undoStop on the task bar halts the task; Stop everything halts all of them. File changes can be undone; clicks and typing already made cannot — which is why the risky ones ask first.

Files

Ora tidies folders — sorting by type or date, renaming with a pattern, or grouping duplicates. It never deletes, never overwrites, and never reads inside a file.

Tidy my Downloads folder — group the files by type.

Asks firstA card names the folder, how many files will move, and the first ten moves as examples. Nothing moves until you approve.

Stop · undoUndo puts every file back where it was — and keeps any edits you made after the tidy.

Build

Ora Build inspects a project folder, proposes changes, edits files and runs commands — with you reading every edit before it lands.

Make a single web page with a homework list I can edit and save.

Asks firstA new session starts in Ask mode: each change and every command is a question you approve.

Stop · undoUndo on the run restores every file the turn created, changed or renamed.

Research

Ora reads real pages itself and writes a report in which every claim links to the exact passage it came from. Anything it can't verify is listed as unsupported, not cited.

Research the real-world battery degradation of solid-state vs lithium-ion EVs — cite every study.

Asks firstWhich folder the report goes in — the only place it writes. Under Local-only it refuses before the first request, and says so.

Stop · undoStop research on the progress card; a run stopped early leaves nothing behind. Undo removes the finished report.

Portals and chores

A bot fetches files from a school or work portal, checks your work against the assignment's own rules, then uploads and submits — done only when the portal itself confirms.

Get this week's assignment from the class portal, check it against the rubric, upload my essay, and turn it in.

Asks firstEvery download asks before it lands. The upload-and-submit card names the exact file, size, and what the check found. A sign-in parks the run for you.

Stop · undoCancel on the status card. A submitted form can't be un-sent — the sealed receipt records the file's hash and the portal's own confirmation.

Missions and bots

A bot is a chat with a job: its mission card states the goal, the places it may touch, the schedule and the budget, in plain words.

Every weekday morning, check the portal for new assignments and save a note in my School folder.

Asks firstA scheduled run follows the same rules as you watching — it can't grant itself anything, and it parks on Waiting for you when it needs a decision.

Stop · undoStop on the mission card, or Stop everything on the task bar. A run missed while Ora was closed is recorded as missed — never run quietly.

Email

With your mailbox connected, Ora reads new mail, posts a digest into your chat, and writes replies that land in your Drafts folder — a person still presses send.

Triage my inbox and draft replies to anything that needs one.

Asks firstNothing to read or draft — a draft you never send changes nothing. Sending always asks and names the exact recipient; a freshly connected mailbox can't send until you allow it.

Stop · undoDelete the draft in your mail app. A send can't be un-sent — History records the account, the recipient and the text.

Creative apps: Blender

Ora drives Blender through a small add-on you install once — build a scene, light it, render and export, all inside the project folder you choose.

Add a beveled cube with a brushed-metal material, light the scene, and export an OBJ into my project folder.

Asks firstInstalling the add-on asks and shows its checksum. Custom Blender commands ask every time, like a shell command — no session approval exists for them.

Stop · undoScene edits undo with Blender's own Ctrl+Z; the files Ora wrote go back with Undo.

The paper trail

Every job leaves a receipt.

Downloads are checked and hashed before they're adopted. Sends and submits seal a receipt beside your files. History lists what changed and how it ended — so you can always answer "what did it do?"
